Applications Invited for BNYS Degree Programme for Academic Session 2026–27


Applications for admission to the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) programme for the academic session 2026–27 have been invited by the National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, at its flagship Nisarg Gram campus, Yewalewadi, Pune.

The 5½-year full-time residential BNYS programme includes 4½ years of academic and clinical training, followed by one year of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI). The programme offers integrated academic education along with extensive clinical exposure in Naturopathy and Yoga. 100 seats are available.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English from a recognised Board and fulfil the prescribed eligibility and medical fitness requirements are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to candidates who have appeared for NEET-UG 2026. Any remaining vacant seats will be filled based on 10+2 PCB merit, in accordance with the prescribed admission procedure and reservation norms.

The online application process will close on 19 October 2026 at 5 pm. The provisional merit list is scheduled for 27 October 2026, followed by the final merit/waiting list on 30 October 2026. Counselling is scheduled for 12–13 November and 18–19 November 2026, while classes are scheduled to commence from 30 November 2026.

NIN, an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Ayush is the first Central Government institution in the country to offer the BNYS programme in affiliation with a Central University, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi.
