State’s first International Ayurveda & Wellness Conclave in February

The state’s first International Ayurveda & Wellness Conclave is scheduled to be held in the beginning of February beginning in Kozhikode. The Kerala Tourism Department has entrusted the Ayurveda Promotion Society (APS) Kerala with organising the event. It aims to bring together key stakeholders from India and abroad to strengthen Kerala’s position as a world leader in Ayurveda, wellness tourism, and medical value travel.

The conclave has been designed to highlight the scientific relevance and global importance of Ayurveda while showcasing Kerala as the premier destination for authentic wellness experiences. The state has long held a dominant position in medical value travel, traditional Ayurveda therapies, and yoga-based wellness retreats. This event seeks to build on that foundation and expand Kerala’s international reach.

The fortnight-long event will be a major tourism initiative of the present state government, too. Tourism Minister PA Mohammed Riyaz, a native of Kozhikode considers North Kerala, traditionally viewed as the cradle of Ayurveda since the 12th century—the ideal venue for hosting an international wellness gathering.

Extensive business-to-business networking is expected, with participation from 200 erala-based sellers, 200 Indian and international tour operators, 50 yoga operators, and 50 bloggers, writers, and media representatives. Around 300 buyers and visitors are expected in total. The event includes seminars, exhibitions and B2B meetings, FAM tours across Kerala and a valedictory in Kovalam.

Renowned institutions including Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala, Thykkat Moosse, Sreedhareeyam, and Sanjeevanam Ayurveda will participate, along with many of Kerala’s wellness resorts.

The Conclave looks forward to participation from Ayurveda, Yoga, and Wellness professionals and become part of the Organising Committee. The conclave represents a landmark in Kerala’s mission to reinforce its global leadership in authentic Ayurveda and wellness tourism. Those interested may contact APS Kerala for registration and exhibition details.

Ayurveda and Heath Tourism Magazine is a media partner for the event.
