The 13th edition of Kerala Travel Mart, KTM 2026, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister VD Satheesan at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Kochi, on September 24. Tourism Minister PC Vishnunadh will preside over the four-day event.

KTM 2026 expo will be held at Sagara-Samudrika Convention Centre, Willingdon Island, Kochi. The mart has already drawn a record 3,050 buyer registrations—800 international and 2,250 domestic. Of these, 1,200 are hosted buyers and 300 are non-hosted buyers. As many as 383 tourism enterprises have booked stalls, alongside 25 stalls representing government institutions.

The government is also looking beyond established tourism hubs. At a press conference, Vishnunadh said Kerala plans to develop 100 new destinations over the next five years, at a pace of 20 a year, with infrastructure development planned in consultation with industry stakeholders. Fort Kochi alone, he said, has projects worth ₹100 crore under way.

The scale of KTM is perhaps best reflected in the numbers: more than 45,000 business meetings have already been scheduled. The event will also bring together 138 media representatives, including 71 international and 67 national journalists.

Business meets, policy discussions and expert-led seminars will run through September 27, followed by post-mart tours covering 12 regions from September 28 to October 3.

This year, KTM goes fully digital, with registration, appointments, B2B meetings, accommodation and transport managed through a revamped software platform and mobile application.
