AIIA Goa marks first foundation day


The All India Institute of Ayurveda, Goa, marked its first foundation day on Wednesday with Ayush minister Sarbananda Sonowal releasing a commemorative postal stamp on the occasion. 


“I want to congratulate the All India Institute of Ayurveda team as we mark the first foundation day by releasing a commemorative postal stamp. This is a proud moment for us. The step taken will give global recognition to Ayurveda,” Sarbananda Sonowal said. 


MoS Ayush Mr. Munjapara Mahendrabhai announced the signing of an MoU between AIIA, Goa, and Andrew Yule & Company Limited for further research and development in the field. 


“I am happy to announce that All India Institute of Ayurveda is signing an MoU with Andrew Yule & Company Limited (AYCL). The signing of the MoU marks the beginning of a collaborative effort to further our understanding of the holistic benefits that we can offer,” Mr. Munjapara Mahendrabhai said. 


The AIIA Goa, spanning a vast 50-acre campus, is meticulously modeled after its counterpart in Delhi. Its mission is to provide advanced preventive, diagnostic, and tertiary healthcare facilities


The satellite center in Goa was dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi last year. Situated in an international tourist destination, the center is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting medical tourism in the country.


The All India Institute of Ayurveda is a premier institution dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services with a motto of compassion with care. The AIIA Goa campus reflects this commitment to expanding Ayurvedic healthcare across regions.
