SOUKYA gears up for 100-bed AYUSH hospital in Bengaluru

SOUKYA International Holistic Health Centre is gearing up to build a 100-bed Ayush Hospital in Bengaluru. The Centre has acquired six-acre land near its campus in Hoskote for the purpose. Holistic care will be offered for complex, chronic and rare ailments by blending Allopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Siddha, Unani, and Yoga along with complementary therapies. The investment is estimated at ₹125 crore, including ₹50 crore for land acquisition and ₹75 crore for construction and development.

The construction envisioned in two phases is likely to commence next year. In the first phase, core specialisations and 50 beds will be set up. The rest will be done in next phase. The hospital is expected to be fully functional by 2027-end. It will feature an organic food programme, walking track, organic farm, and water-harvesting systems. Insurance coverage will be available for treatments. The Centre intends to set up such facilities in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kerala, rapidly emerging as strong AYUSH markets, according to the authorities.

SOUKYA mixes medical science with traditional healing and preventive care, in line with the Ayush path. It aims to expand in two tracks -- ultra premium-holistic centres and affordable ones to widen the reach of evidence-base AYUSH care.
