Chandigarh Police and Punjab University signs MoU for yoga advancement protocol

A memorandum of undertaking was signed between the Chandigarh Police and Punjab University for the advancement of yoga protocol at the convocation hall of the university. The event laid special stress on yoga for stress management. About 1200 persons including cops, new recruits, students of ‘URJA’ initiative (drug free mohalla program) of Chandigarh took part in the event. The scientific benefits of yoga were also discussed during the function while a live demonstration of yoga protocol was given.

The MOU will enable the exchange of knowledge and expertise in the areas of cyber security, forensics and psychology application. It will also open new avenues for police personnel to undertake short courses or enroll into degree programs of Punjab University besides sharing the resources of the two organizations.
