The Punjab government is planning to adopt Ayurveda to provide healing to drug addicts.
To go further with this plan, the state government has come up with a proposal to setup an ayurvedic de-addiction centre as pilot project for providing comprehensive de-addiction services through medicines, yoga, exercises, meditation and counseling.
