Meet to focus on modern practices in ayurveda


Nagpur: The Nagpur branch of National Integrated Medical Association will host a national conference on ‘Integrated approach towards Ayurveda practise and expo’ at Naivedhyam Eastoria, Kalamna Market Road, on September 29 and 30.

The objective of the conference is to present practitioners with latest knowledge about ayurvedic medicines. It will also offer a platform to research scholars to present their study on the topic. Various pharmaceutical companies and health care industries will exhibit their products.

The first two sessions on the first day will deliberate on ayurvedic and modern approach to gynaecological practice. This will be followed by sessions on ‘Approach towards cancer management’, ‘Panchakarma in day-to-day practise’, and ‘Ayush: Policies and planning’. Live surgery workshops and paper presentations will also be hosted at another hall.

The sessions to be held on Day 2 are: Approach of ayurvedic diagnosis in day-to-day practise, modern approach towards medical practice, OPD treatments of phimosis, creating footsteps for global Ayurveda, preventive approach, and system-wise approach towards ayurvedic treatment.

Union transport minister Nitin Gadgari, guardian minister Chandrashekar Bawankule and member of parliament Krupal Tumane will attend the meet.
