CCRH and the Paralympics Committee of India Join Hands to Promote Homoeopathy in Parasports

In a significant development, the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) and the Paralympics Committee of India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote the use of homeopathy in parasports and generate valuable evidence regarding the effectiveness of homeopathic medicines in addressing the health challenges faced by para-athletes.

CCRH, an apex research organization under the Ministry of AYUSH, focuses on the scientific exploration and advancement of homeopathy. Parasports encompass a variety of sports played by individuals with disabilities, including physical and intellectual impairments. The MoU aims to explore the potential benefits of homeopathic medicines in enhancing the health and well-being of para-athletes.

"We are very excited about the new collaboration and hope that the use of homeopathic medicines will yield effective results in addressing the health challenges of para-athletes," expressed the Paralympics Committee in a tweet.

Homeopathy facilitates effective and rapid healing while promoting the body's natural healing processes. By utilizing homeopathy, athletes may potentially mitigate the need for surgeries, particularly in cases of serious injuries that worsen over time. The aim is to enhance the overall health and performance of para-athletes and contribute to their success on and off the field.
