The Ayush Valley Foundation in association with the Ayurveda
& Health Tourism Magazine is organizing a webinar on ‘AYUSH: Scaling Up
& Upscaling – Part 1 Novel Formulations and Clinical Trials’ on September
19.
The session will be moderated by Dr Madan Thangavelu, noted
Genome Biologist from the University of Cambridge, UK, and the prominent
speakers include Anil Khandelwal, Managing Director, Yogicsecret Healthcare P
Ltd, Puneet Mittal, Director, Clinical Research, Mittal Global Clinical Trial
Services and Sreeraj Gopi, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and

Ayurveda, the traditional Indian holistic healing science, is
effective even in treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes, arthritis and
asthma besides numerous health issues. However, the lack of scientific
validation and advanced research practices comes in the way of its global
recognition.
The Indian Ministry of AYUSH has initiated several measures
to this end, duly recognising the need. Among others, it has tied up with the
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), country’s prestigious
research body, to work on validation of several AYUSH formulations against
Covid-19.
The speakers will touch upon various ways for development and
promotion of the precious gift of our ancestors, especially how to facilitate
validation of basic principles as well as drugs used in the ancient medicinal
system with the help of advanced research methodology.
The virtual session, fifth of the International Webinar Series, will start from 4.30 pm (IST) on
Saturday. For further details, log into http://www.ayushvalley.org/.
