Ayush Valley Foundation to host webinar series
Kochi: The Ayush Valley Foundation, a group of Ayurvedic professionals,
scholars and veterans, in association with the Ayurveda & Health Tourism
Magazine is organising a webinar series from June 27.
The first of the series, on the topic ‘Can we live with
corona,’ is scheduled to be held from 2.30 pm on June 27. Dr Madan Thangavelu, noted Genome Biologist from the University of
Cambridge, UK, will moderate the virtual discussion.
The prominent speakers to participate include Dr Narendra S Bhatt, Mumbai-based eminent
Ayurvedic scholar and Head of CRIA Consultants Pvt Ltd, Dr J L N Sastry, Chief Executive Officer, National Medicinal Plant
Board, and Dr Cornelis Peters,
Director, Europa Ayurveda Centre, Netherlands.
With the coronavirus threat persisting, people should learn
to live with the “new normal” while focussing on the disease prevention and
mitigation. Ayurveda has proven immunity boosting benefits and the future
healthcare tactics should also include the age-old holistic medical system.
The areas that the speakers will touch upon include ‘Challenges
of Covid-19 and the therapeutic and research opportunities for Ayurveda’, ‘Ayurvedic
Rasayanas for restoring holistic health and Ayurvedic Rasayanas for Covid-19’
and ‘Ayurveda for global health – An European and International Perspective’.
