Ayurveda Promotion Society Formed

Finally, the Ayurveda Promotion Society (APS) has been formed and its AGM (Annual General Meeting) was held on 24th November 2018 in Kochi. The AGM announced the society’s first mega event. This event intended for international operators/ media specialized in Ayurveda and yoga, to see the wellness and therapeutic facilities in Kerala and to meet the service provider’s of Kerala in different locations. This is a 12-Day programme starting from 25th October 2019 from Kannur (north Kerala) and ending on 4th November 2019 at Kovalam (South Kerala). The highlights of AAT (Ayurveda Ambassador’s Tour) & B2B Meet: – The inaugural day is fixed on 25th October 2019 also the Dhanwanthari day 2019 and it will be highlighted to announce all Dhanwantrai day as “World Ayurveda Day”. Kannur Airport will be the arrival for all participating operators and North Kerala will be given top priority in this trip. The trip will go through all major destinations like Calicut, Kottakkal, Palakkad, Thrissur, Alleppey, Kollam etc and end in Kovalam. The B2B meet and property visits will be held in different destinations of the state.

The highlights of AAT (Ayurveda Ambassador’s Tour) & B2B Meet: –

The inaugural day is fixed on 25th October 2019 also the Dhanwanthari day 2019 and it will be highlighted to announce all Dhanwantrai day as “World Ayurveda Day”. Kannur Airport will be the arrival for all participating operators and North Kerala will be given top priority in this trip.
The trip will go through all major destinations like Calicut, Kottakkal, Palakkad, Thrissur, Alleppey, Kollam etc and end in Kovalam. The B2B meet and property visits will be held in different destinations of the state.

The event will promote the properties of APS members only. Around 200 buyers specializing in Ayurveda from all over the world will participate in this mega event.

Apart from sharing the highlights of the AAT and B2B meet, the AGM unanimously elected its governing body members. Sajeev Kurup of Ayurvedamana Hospitals was elected as President, Aji Alex of Healing Touch Ayurveda & Yoga Retreat was elected as Vice President; CS Vinod of Mnimangalam Natural Concepts Pvt Ltd was elected as Secretary, Janeesh J of Outland Island Backwater Resorts was elected as Joint Secretary and MR Gopalakrishnan of Kaddapuram Beach Resort was elected as Treasurer. Among the Executive Committee Members were Baby Mathew of Somatheeram Ayurveda Group; Benny Thomas of Ayurveda & Health Tourism magazine, an FM Media Publication and many others.
