Amptech India 2019, a healthcare exhibition and conference, began at Adlux International Exhibition and Convention Centre here on February 14; 2019.
The three-day trade fair and conference had 250 exhibitors representing the healthcare industry under one umbrella.
Inaugurating the exhibition and 8th annual state conference of the Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers Organisation of India (AMMOI), PR Krishnakumar, Managing Director, Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, Coimbatore, said foreign countries are willing to learn and introduce Ayurveda and several universities and researchers in advanced medical fields, including nano medicine, have expressed willingness to collaborate.
“Expansions outside India need good ground work. We should provide quality Ayurveda education; improve on our standard of care, infrastructure and foreign language skills.
“Credibility and recognition need to be gained by proper documentation of clinical treatments, complying with WHO coding of diseases, establish laboratories, actively conduct research meeting international guidelines and publications meeting international standards,” he said.
Amptech India exhibition was attended by the representatives of various industrial associations such as Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association , Indian Medical Association – Kerala Chapter, Kerala Private Hospitals’ Association, Indian Pharma Machinery Manufacturers Association and Drug manufacturers and Marketers Association.
