After ‘namaste’, another traditional practice yoga is gaining popularity, especially among film celebrities, as a way to keep fit during self-isolation and quarantine days. Many of them took to social media to share pictures of their yoga sessions in a bid to motivate fans.

“How’s everyone’s zen going? Mine’s got quite a lot of woofing in it,” Kate captioned her Instagram video clip, showing the 46-year old actor following an online yoga class, easing from one tricking pose to another effortlessly.

Actress and Bollywood fitness icon Shilpa Shetty went a step further holding a live fitness session across digital platforms from home the other day. “In times like these, it's important to stay fit, active, and healthy. "You can watch, learn, and practice it from the comfort of your homes. Remember, staying indoors shouldn't be an excuse for deviating from your fitness routine," she wrote on her Instagram post.

Actors Tamannah Bhatia and Malaika Arora, co-founder of Diva Yoga, participated in a one-hour virtual yoga class. “we must do our best to stay calm and safe…Our instructors will offer guided lessons every day... for everyone's benefit. I encourage people to join in and be responsible for your own health. When you are fit and healthy, you can help others in a better manner. It is these small steps that will lead to a better outcome," Malaika said.

An Instagram video of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor performing yoga asanas while following the instructions of a yoga trainer on the television too is winning the hearts in the social media. “Doing virtual yoga .. stay home stay healthy !!! @brat.man we accept the challenge.(sic)," wrote his wife and actor Neetu Kapoor, who posted the video.
